DAN KERTH – TELSTRA INC (TLS)

DAN KERTH, President of Telstra Incorporated, is responsible for the company's overall sales and support functions for the Americas region. Telstra is the US-based, wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Corporation, Australia's premier full service communications provider and a leading carrier in the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Kerth's team, headquartered in New York City and with offices throughout the USA, directly supports multinational corporations with their requirements for global telecommunications services. Mr. Kerth joined Telstra in October 1996 as Product Marketing Manager for Telstra's US-based electronic directory business, where he launched one of the first online, real-time, Web- based directory applications. In 1999 Mr. Kerth was appointed VP of Business Development for Telstra Incorporated, responsible for the expansion of Telstra's strategy for both wholesales and retail communications services in the US market. After completing a successful launch of the US business, Mr. Kerth assumed the position of VP of Product Marketing with Telstra Incorporated, where he and his team developed and launched several global data products in the US market including, ATM, private IP, Internet and managed WAN services. Mr. Kerth has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Before joining Telstra he was a Product Marketing Manager for AT&T's electronic directory product line, AT&T Find America. He spent five years managing many aspects of the business, beginning from the startup phase, including sales operations, business development and product management. While at AT&T Mr. Kerth was honored with the Sales VP Award ' AT&T Business Markets Group National Accounts and with the Spirit of Communications Award ' AT&T Consumer Communications Services. Mr Kerth is a Director on the Telstra Incorporated Board and an executive member of the Australian American Free Trade Agreement Coalition. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University's Kelly School of Business.
