CRAIG S. MILLER has been President of Uno Restaurant Corporation since
1986 and Chief Executive Officer since October 1996. He joined Uno in
1984 after an 11-year career with General Mills (Darden) Restaurants
where he worked in executive positions with Red Lobster Inns and Casa
Gallardo Mexican Restaurants. Mr. Miller is a Vietnam Veteran, having
served in the United States Air Force (1967-71). He graduated from the
University of Central Florida in 1974. He has been honored by the
Business School of the University as a charter member of the Hall of
Fame, and is the year 2000 recipient of The Darden Distinguished
Practitioner of Restaurant Management, given by The Department of
Hospitality Management. Mr. Miller is particularly active within the
restaurant industry as a Board member of the National Restaurant
Association and Chairman of its SAFE Fund. He is also a founding member
of the American Beverage Institute and is serving as its current
President. Further, he is active with the Employment Policies Institute,
an industry think tank for employment research. He has served as a
member of the Board of Directors of The Learning Center, a renowned
school for deaf education, and is a member of its executive committee.
