CORBETT A. PRICE is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kurron
Shares of America, Inc. Kurron, a leading specialist in the
restructuring and management of health care companies. He has developed
his strategic vision and financial and planning expertise from nearly 25
years of health care business experience. Mr. Price founded Kurron in
1990 to deliver a full range of innovative, results-oriented management,
and consulting services specializing in the transformation of health
care organizations through financial revitalization and program
realignment. Since its formation, Kurron has been responsible for the
restructuring of assets in excess of $1 billion. Mr. Price's
accomplishments include: designing and implementing comprehensive
business plans; successful recapture of equity dollars; leading
successful negotiations with local, state and federal governmental
agencies; developing cash flow schedules and planning vendor payouts as
a means of reducing accounts payable without business interruption;
orchestrating multi-institutional debt refinancing; conducting intense
operational assessments covering revenue enhancements, labor and
productivity, non-labor expenses, business office processes and
performance; and developing structures and management systems for multi-
specialty group practices. Mr. Price's senior management experience
encompasses a wide range of health care organizations including: public,
private, investor-owned and university-affiliated health care systems;
managed care; third party administration and clinical software
companies. His areas of expertise include financial turnarounds;
corporate reorganizations and general management; strategic marketing
design; executive staff selection; and the development of cooperative
board, professional, patient, consumer, governmental and community
relationships. With a unique understanding of community needs and health
care policy, Mr. Price has advised elected officials at the local, state
and federal levels of government in the US and the governments of
countries throughout Central and South America and Asia. Prior to
forming Kurron, Mr. Price served in a variety of senior management
positions with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) including Vice
President of HCA Management Company's Mid Atlantic District and as Chief
Executive Officer of an HCA-managed hospital in Richmond. Prior to that,
he was Chief Operating Officer at a major affiliated hospital of The
