CHRISTOPHER G. COGAN is Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer
GoCo-op.com. In 1987 Mr. Cogan formed Native Realty, Inc., a specialized
commercial real estate company to service the hotel and hospitality
industry in Florida. In 1991 he formed Midwest Contract, an award-
winning commercial design and procurement firm that has provided
purchasing services for nearly a decade for numerous large, prestigious
customers in the hotel, restaurant, and healthcare industries. Through
the Midwest experience, Mr. Cogan recognized a clear need in the service
industries for automation and integration of supply-chain management
systems to reduce costs, shorten purchasing timelines, and enable
closer, more efficient interaction between companies and their
suppliers. He realized early on the opportunities the Internet would
provide to eliminate these inefficiencies and initiated development of
GoCo-op.com's Internet-based procurement system in 1995. This makes
GoCo-op one of the few e-commerce companies with five years of true
commercial experience. Mr. Cogan earned a BA degree in Economics from
Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and is a graduate of the
Executive Management Program at the Crummer Graduate School of Business. Profile
