CHARLES MCGREGOR is the Chief Executive Officer of Fibernet Group Plc.
He was one of the founders of Fibernet in 1986, when his role was that
of Sales and Marketing Director. Prior to Fibernet, he spent six years
working in the data communications sector. In 1980, Mr McGregor joined
Telephone Rentals where he was responsible for sales in the Southwest
region. He subsequently joined Network Technology Limited as the
European Sales Executive for multiplexers and switches. He was then
recruited by Norand United Kingdom Limited for whom he worked as Head of
European Sales. He became Chief Executive Officer of Fibernet in 1993.
Having achieved a PTO licence for the company in 1995, Mr McGregor
continues to drive a fast growing and successful telecommunications
company. His role includes the strategic development of the Fibernet
Group -currently taking the company into international markets and
continuing to motivate a team to achieve goals where others fail to even
