Charles Cotros – Sysco Corporation (syy)

CHARLES H. COTROS is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SYSCO Corporation since July 2000. Mr. Cotros has held various positions with SYSCO since 1975. He started in the foodservice industry working for his family's business, Tri-State General Food Supply, which later joined the SYSCO family in 1974. Mr. Cotros was elected to Christian Brothers University Board of Trustees in 1992; elected to Board of Directors, Metamor Worldwide (formerly COREStaff, Inc.); elected to the Board of Governors of Food Distributors International also serving on their International Advisory Council and Communications & Marketing Committee; and he was elected to ID Magazine's Editorial Advisory Board. He graduated from Humes High School in 1955, attended Tulane University, and graduated from Chrisitan Brothers College (Memphis, Tennessee) in 1960. Profile
