CHARLES M. BOESENBERG, Chairman and CEO of NetIQ Corporation, was named
President and Chief Executive Officer of NetIQ in January 2002. A 30-
year veteran in the technology industry, Mr. Boesenberg has held senior
executive positions at IBM and Apple and has served as President and
Chief Executive Officer of Central Point Software, Magellan and
Integrated Systems. As President and Chief Executive Officer of
Integrated Systems, Mr. Boesenberg led the integration of multiple
acquisitions, and forged strategic partnerships resulting in the
company's ability to deliver the broadest base of solutions in the
embedded systems software market, and returned the company to revenue
growth and strong profitability. Mr. Boesenberg also served on the Board
of Symantec Corporation. Mr. Boesenberg holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rose Hulman Institute of
Technology and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration
