Carol Hochman – Danskin Inc (dans.ob)

CAROL HOCHMAN joined Danskin Inc., in June 1999 as President and CEO responsible for the operation of both Danskin and Pennaco Hosiery. Prior to that, she held the position of Group President for Accessories at Liz Claiborne Inc. There her responsibilities included the Handbag and Small Leather Goods division, the Fashion Accessories division (scarves, belts, hat, hair accessories and legwear) and the Jewelry division. These divisions produced product under the Liz Claiborne brand for traditional department stores, the First Issue label for Sears and the Crazy Horse label for JC Penney. Prior to 1980 and the inception and launch of these businesses, Ms. Hochman spent six years in the International Division of May Department Stores developing and running their programs in accessories. Ms. Hochman is on the Board of Directors of the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, Executive Committee of FABB, a fashion accessories industry charitable organization, and a founding Director of the Accessories Council, the accessories industry's major trade association. Ms. Hochman is a Trustee of the Queens College Foundation-CUNY, of which she is an alumnus, and a member of the Stony Brook-Suny Corporate Advisory Board. Profile
