C. ARNOLD RENSCHLER, M.D. is President and Chief Executive Officer of
PharMerica. He previously served as President and Chief Executive
Officer of Pharmacy Corporation of America (PCA). Renschler has more
than 30 years' experience in health care, as both an executive and a
clinician. Prior to joining PCA in 1996, he was Senior Vice President
and Chief Clinical Officer of NovaCare, Inc., where he also served as
president of three operating divisions. Before joining NovaCare in 1990,
he held a series of key executive positions at Manor Care, Inc.,
including President and Chief Operating Officer. He also served as an
assistant professor of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University and
Stanford University. Renschler has held numerous board appointments for
organizations including NovaCare, Manor Care and Children's Seashore
House. Currently, he is a member of the board of AmeriPath. He is a
fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is certified by the
American Board of Pediatrics. Renschler earned his Bachelor of Arts
degree from Walla Walla College in Washington and his Doctor of Medicine
