Brian Wallace – Hilton Group Plc (hg.l)

BRIAN WALLACE became Deputy Group Chief Executive on June 1, 2000. He was appointed Group Finance Director and joined the board of Hilton Group plc (formerly Ladbroke Group Plc) in April 1995. He holds the additional role of Chief Financial Officer of Hilton International, which he assumed in March 1996. Previously, Mr Wallace was Group Finance Director of Geest Plc, the fresh produce and prepared food company, beginning in 1990. In 1982, he joined Schlumberger where he held various international finance appointments based in London, Dubai and Paris. He became Group Financial Controller of APV Plc in 1989. After graduating in economics from the University of St. Andrews, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London. Mr Wallace is also a non-executive director of Hays Plc.
