Brian Dalgetty – Ibm

BRIAN DALGETTY, IBM's Director of Marketing for Wireless e-Business, leads a worldwide marketing organization responsible for all aspects of IBM's wireless and mobile initiatives. He's a 17-year IBM veteran with a career that began in a skunk-works engineering lab and crossed over into a succession of key marketing assignments focusing on PC and consumer products. Among his accomplishments, he helped establish an IBM subsidiary to focus on its direct sales channel, was instrumental in the development and marketing of IBM's highly successful and award-winning Aptiva product line, managed the marketing team responsible for establishing and building IBM's consumer mobile business, and led IBM's workstation, commercial and consumer desktop marketing organization. Prior to assuming his current position earlier this year, he was responsible for creating strategic industry alliances, including Cisco, Kodak, Microsoft, Intel, Callaway, Bose, and RSA.
