BILL DANIEL – SURGIENT INC

BILL DANIEL President and CEO is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Surgient, including all aspects of strategy and execution. Prior to Surgient, he held multiple senior management positions at Vignette Corporation from 1998 to 2002, as the company grew from $3.5M to $367.0M in annual revenues, including roles as Vignette's senior strategy and products officer. He joined Vignette from Wallop Software Inc., a Web content assembly and management tools company he co-founded in 1995 and which was acquired by IBM in 1998. Bill led two other successful start-ups, Datis Corporation, a medical information provider, and Mozart Systems Inc., a leading connectivity and graphic use interface acquired by public companies. He previously held positions in sales at Oracle Corporation as well as other Silicon Valley based technology companies. Bill earned a bachelors degree in engineering from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Profile
