BHASKAR GORTI is Senior Vice President, Marketing, Alliances and Global
Accounts at Portal Software, Inc. He is responsible for Portal's global
marketing, which includes product management and marketing, services
marketing and marketing communications. Mr. Gorti also oversees the
global alliances function, including strategy definition and the
identification, negotiation and development of Portal's critical
strategic relationships. Most recently, Mr. Gorti has been appointed to
lead efforts to enhance and expand Portal's relationships with global
customers, including Vodafone and France Telecom/Orange. Mr. Gorti came
to Portal after serving as vice president, global sales and alliances at
OnDemand, acquired by Chordiant Software, where he utilized extensive
experience in successfully negotiating sales and alliance agreements
with industry leading companies. He held prominent positions at Hewlett-
Packard where he was director, worldwide business development, telecom
and ISPs and general manager, E-Services (SMB) Business Unit. He has
also worked for Aluminum Company of America, Sun Microsystems and
ARPANET'Office of Naval Research. An outstanding industry leader, Mr.
