BART A. BROWN, JR. has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and
Director of Main Street and Main Incorporated since December 1996. Mr.
Brown was affiliated with Investcorp International, N.A. , an
international investment banking firm, from April 1996 until December
1996. Mr. Brown served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Color Tile, Inc. from September 1995 until March 1996. He served as
Chairman of the Board of the Circle K Corporation from June 1990,
shortly after that company filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of
the United States Bankruptcy Code, until September 1995, when the
company successfully emerged from bankruptcy. Concurrently, Mr. Brown
served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Spreckles Industries,
Inc. from September 1994 until September 1996. Mr. Brown was engaged in
the private practice of law from 1963 through 1990 after seven years of
employment with the Internal Revenue Service. Profile
