ANNIE BROOKING is CEO of Astron Clinica. Ms. Brooking is a computer
scientist who has been working in the high technology industry for over
30 years. During this time she has led academic research teams,
engineering teams and teams of marketers, and has held senior management
positions at Sun Microsystems Inc. in Mountain View, California and
Symbolics Inc. in Boston. She has run a number of high technology
companies, has 20 years' sales and marketing experience in Europe and
the US and has published several books on both management and computing
topics. She is a Visiting Professor at the Computing Department at
