ALEXANDER WILMERDING Partner brings seven years of private equity
investing experience in the IT and communications services area as well
as seven years of business development and general management operating
experience in the transportation industry. At BCV, he serves as a
director on the boards of FareChase, Inc., KhiMetrics, Inc., and
RealManage Holdings, Inc. He also serves as an observer to the boards of
SynXis and Exa Corporations. In the not-for-profit arena, Alexander
serves as an Officer and Trustee of the Yale-China Association. Prior to
joining BCV, he earned an MBA in Finance and Organizational Management
at the Columbia Business School. Prior to earning his MBA, Alexander
managed business and operations projects in Shanghai, People's Republic
of China, and Southeast Asia for Fednav Limited, Canada's largest bulk
cargo shipping conglomerate. In addition, he held four executive
management positions with the Swire Group for which he served in general
management roles at two subsidiaries, Cathay Pacific Airways and
Dragonair. Having lived seven years in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and
Indonesia, he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Alexander is a graduate of
