Alan Clingman – Marquis Jet Partners Inc

ALAN CLINGMAN is co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors of Marquis Jet Partners, Inc., the world's leading provider of short-term leases of fractional interests in private jet aircraft, sold on a pre-paid basis in single-year, 25-hour increments. Prior to co-founding Marquis Jet Partners, Mr. Clingman built a superlative reputation as an extremely successful entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in business and finance. From 1996-2001, Mr. Clingman founded iCentennial Ventures which focused primarily on investments. As a hands-on, early-stage investor, iCV was instrumental in founding or investing in successful startups, such as Advanced Data Exchange, RentPort, TradeOut, WorldSpy, among others. Mr. Clingman also started one of the first broker- dealers in Russia, as well as three successful banks in the former Soviet Republics of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. By 1996, his First Ukrainian International Bank had become the leading bank in Ukraine at which time his interests were acquired by the Dutch financial giant, Fortis NV and a consortium of local investors. Other successful startups include Rhovan, a defunct South African mining company which was acquired by Mr. Clingman and a group of South African investors in 1991. Mr. Clingman started his career in 1981, brokering crude oil and commodities.
