Michael Gorman is a Managing Director and REIT Analyst at BTIG, focused on apartments, health care, retail, freestanding, and residential REITs. Mr. Gorman has over 17 years of experience covering the sector. Prior to BTIG, he was a lead REIT analyst at Cowen and Company, and held similar roles at Janney Montgomery Scott, Credit Suisse, and Prudential. Mr. Gorman received an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Bucknell University.

Stephen Sheldon, CFA, CPA, is a Partner with William Blair & Co., which he joined in September 2011. Mr. Sheldon is a technology Research Analyst focused on the real estate, education, and restaurant/hospitality verticals. In 2018, Institutional Investor named him a Rising Star for the All-America Research Team. Before 2018, Mr. Sheldon spent more than six years as an associate covering companies in the HR technology, information services, and staffing industries. He graduated with a B.S. in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in professional accounting from the University of Texas.

Dan Romanoff is an Equity Research Analyst that covers software at Morningstar. He spent the last 13 years on the buy side, most recently at Holland Capital Management, covering the technology and telecommunications sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Romanoff was a sellside analyst covering hardware and software stocks at both Credit Suisse and UBS. Mr. Romanoff has both an MBA and B.S. from the University of Illinois and is a CPA.

Robert Fagan is Equity Research Director of Stifel GMP. Mr. Fagan is a Canadian investment analyst who focuses on the U.S. market for stocks in the cannabis sector. Mr. Fagan worked for a couple of years in the retail side of finance and later conducted research for GMP Securities, the predecessor firm of Stifel GMP. Mr. Fagan was previously employed at CIBC Wood Gundy Corp. and by BMO Investments, Inc. Mr. Fagan received his undergraduate degree from McGill University. He earned the CFA designation in 2010.

Esther Rajavelu is Senior Equities Research Analyst, covering biotechnology and specialty pharmaceuticals, at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Earlier, she worked at Deutsche and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She graduated from Wesleyan University and received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Jacob Johnson, CFA, is a Research Analyst at Stephens Inc. He is on the health care team following the life science tools and diagnostics space. Earlier, he was a financial analyst at Kings Point Capital Management. He graduated from Sewanee — The University of the South — and received a master’s degree in finance from Washington University in St. Louis.

Sean Meakim, Senior Equity Research Analyst, is Head of J.P. Morgan’s North American Oil Services and Equipment team. He has broad coverage, including diversified oil services, capital equipment, small/midcap services, land drillers, offshore drillers and energy distributors. Mr. Meakim has been ranked by Institutional Investor since 2017, including a number-two ranking in 2019. He has covered the sector since 2011 and joined JPM from Barclays in 2014. Mr. Meakim holds a B.A. in economics from Duke University and an MBA from Cornell University and is a CFA charterholder.

Sunil K. Sibal is a Managing Director and Senior Energy Infrastructure/Utilities Analyst at Seaport Global Securities LLC. He has more than 25 years of progressive international experience in the energy sector, most recently at Seaport Global, which he joined in 2014 to cover and build out the firm’s MLP/midstream infrastructure research. Prior to that he was with Citi, where he covered the midstream MLPs and built out the various commodity forecast models. Prior to Citi, Mr. Sibal held roles identifying investment opportunities in the natural resources and energy sector at Bank of America and Natixis, as well as project development and engineering roles at Fluor and ABB Lummus Global (CVX JV). He received an MBA from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Panjab University in India.

Steve Moss is a Senior Research Analyst and Senior Vice President covering the banking sector at B. Riley Securities. Mr. Moss joined the firm in September 2016. He has covered banks and thrifts for more than 19 years. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moss was a director at Evercore ISI, covering large regional banks, Texas banks and Southeast banks for more than four years. He previously covered Southeast, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regional banks at Janney Montgomery Scott from 2003 to 2011. Prior to Janney, Mr. Moss worked at SNL Financial.

Brian T. Velie is a Director and Senior Equity Analyst at Capital One Securities, Inc. He joined the firm in June 2008. Before joining Capital One Securities, Mr. Velie was employed as a cost engineer by the Northrop Grumman Corporation and before that as a project engineer by the Procter & Gamble Company. Mr. Velie received his B.S. in electrical engineering with honors from the State University of New York-Buffalo and an MBA in finance from Tulane University.
