WILLIAM W. TRAYNHAM is President and Chief Financial Officer for
Community Bankshares Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant and
graduated from Duke University in 1976 with a degree in Management
Science and Accounting. He graduated from the Graduate School of Banking
of the South in 1991. He began his banking career in 1987 with the
opening of Orangeburg National Bank in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is
a Director of Community Bankshares, Inc., and its five operating
subsidiaries: Orangeburg National Bank, Sumter National Bank, Florence
National Bank, the Bank of Ridgeway and Community Resource Mortgage Inc. Profile
