WILLIAM S. JOHNSON has served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice
President of Finance at Cabot Microelectronics Corporation since April
2003. Prior to joining Cabot Microelectronics, Mr. Johnson served as
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Budget Group,
Inc., from 2000 through the transition of its business to Cendant
Corporation. Before that, Mr. Johnson spent 16 years at BP Amoco in
various senior finance and management positions. Mr. Johnson received
his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Oklahoma and his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business. Profile
