WILLIAM E. 'MAC' MCWHIRTER was born in 1951 in Indianapolis. He
graduated cum laude from DePauw University with a degree in economics.
He is the Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer of Peoples
Bank Corporation of Indianapolis (PPLS) and its subsidiary bank, Peoples
Bank & Trust Company. Mr. McWhirter serves on numerous civic boards,
particularly human service organizations. He and his wife, Susan, and
