William Craven – Paravant Inc (pvat)

WILLIAM R. CRAVEN is President and Chief Executive Officer of Paravant Inc. He joined Paravant in 1991 as the Vice President of Marketing and also served in a strategic development role and led the process to take the company public in 1996. In December 1998 Mr. Craven became Executive Vice President of Business Development and was actively involved in the acquisition and integration efforts of the company. In December 1999 Mr. Craven was named to the post of President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Craven has also served as a Director of the company since 1994. Prior to joining Paravant, Mr. Craven had served as President of the Seiko Mead Company, a joint venture of the Mead Corporation of Ohio and the Seiko Group of Japan engaged in the design and marketing of color imaging systems. Mr. Craven also served as the Vice President of Marketing of Telxon Corporation, then the largest manufacturer of handheld computers. Mr. Craven holds degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. Profile
