WARREN WEST serves as President of Greentree Brokerage Services, Inc.
Xacute.com (X). Mr. West has led the product development efforts of X
and is directly responsible for the concepts behind the electronic
trading platform. Prior to the founding of GBSI, Mr. West served as
General Partner at GT members of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX).
GT is a proprietary trading firm acting as market makers on the PHLX.
Mr. West is responsible for all risk management and compliance issues.
Mr. West has over 26 years of experience in the financial services
industry having served as president of Strategic Investors, Inc., Vice
President of Spear Leeds and Kellogg, Drexel Burham Lambert, and A. G.
Becker. During his career on "Wall Street", Mr. West has managed
operations for several major firms including the aforementioned. Mr.
West developed and established the ethics course now a membership
prerequisite at the American Stock Exchange (AMEX). From 1982 to the
present, Mr. West has been active on numerous committees of the PHLX
including: marketing, options, foreign currency, rules, seats and
quality of markets. Mr. West is considered a pioneer in the industry
enjoying many firsts as an African American including: the first member
of the PHLX and the first minority owned specialist operation. Mr. West
was a speaker at the 1998 and 1999 Options Industry as well as, the 2002
and 2003 National Association of Security Professionals conferences, has
been seen on L. A. Business News, featured in Money Magazine, is often
quoted on The Street.Com, in Bloomberg News and The Wall Street Letter.
Mr. West serves on the board of several civic and private entities. Profile
