WARNER C. BLOW has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of
Sterling Commerce since October 1996. Prior to that he served as
President and Chief Operating Officer of Sterling Commerce. Formerly, he
served as Executive Vice President of Sterling Software and President of
the Electronic Commerce Group since 1986. Also, he was Vice President
and General Manager of the distribution and retail systems operations of
Informatics General Corp., a company acquired by Sterling Software.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Blow held sales and marketing positions with
General Electric Co. in Watertown, Mass., where he developed new
business opportunities for meeting the data processing needs of the
medical field. He later served as President of the Medical Services
Division of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., a national organization
with computer facilities in New York, Baltimore and Nashville, Tenn.,
that services hospitals and nursing homes throughout the country. He
also served as a Security Officer in the United States Air Force. Mr.
Blow earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University
of Rochester and a Master of Business Administration degree in
Management from Wagner College. Profile
