W. MOORHEAD VERMILYE is the President and CEO of Shore Bancshares, Inc., the
largest independent financial services company on the Delmarva Peninsula of
Maryland and Delaware. For 15 years, Mr. Vermilye served as President and CEO of
The Talbot Bank from 1991 to 2006, at the same time serving as President and CEO
of Shore Bancshares, Inc., from 2001 to present. He is very active in his
community and serves on several Boards including University of Maryland Medical
System; Mid-Shore Community Foundation, Investment Committee; United Fund
Advisory Board; and the Memorial Hospital Foundation, Vice Chairman. Mr.
Vermilye received a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Profile
