V. William Hunt – Arvin Industries (arv)

V. WILLIAM HUNT, Chairman, President, CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Arvin Industries, joined the company as Counsel in 1976, becoming Vice President, Administration in 1980; Secretary in 1982; a member of the Board in 1983; Executive Vice President in 1990; President in 1996; CEO in 1998; and Chairman in 1999. Before joining Arvin, Mr. Hunt practiced labor relations law in Indianapolis for six years and later served TRW Automotive Worldwide as Labor Counsel. He is currently Chairman of the Presidents' Council of the Motor and Equipment Manufacturer's Association (MEMA) and a member of its Board. Active in civic and educational affairs, he is a member of the Indiana University School of Business Dean's Advisory Council, the Indiana University Well House Society and a Director of the Indiana University Foundation and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hunt received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1966 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1969 from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
