TROY E. LYNCH is President and Chief Executive Officer of eOn
Communications Corporation. He leads eOn's executive team, defines
corporate strategies and sets the standards and vision for the corporate
culture. Mr. Lynch is responsible for all corporate, strategic and
operational decisions. He joined eOn in February 1999 as Vice President
of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer, and most recently held the
position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer,
providing eOn's operational direction and leadership. Prior to joining
eOn, Mr. Lynch served as Vice President of Research and Development of
Hayes Corporation, a manufacturer of cable, DSL, analog modems and
remote access equipment. He joined Hayes Corporation via a merger with
Access Beyond Incorporated, where he served as Vice President of
Engineering and was instrumental in the development of Internet and
enterprise access solutions. He has also served in the role of Director
of Development at Penril Communications Incorporated, a
telecommunications company. Mr. Lynch holds a Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master's
degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications from Johns Hopkins

Stephen N. Samp became Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of
Finance and Administration and Secretary of eOn in March 1998. From June
1995 to February 1998, Mr. Samp was Vice President, Controller and Chief
Accounting Officer at Guardsmark, Inc., a private security services
firm. Mr. Samp was previously with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, an
accounting firm. Mr. Samp received an MBA from the Wharton Graduate
School of Business and a BS from Ohio State University. Profile
