TORE BIRKELAND has been the President of APAC Minerals since 1997. As a
geologist and Senior Corporate Mining Executive, he has extensive
experience in exploring for gold throughout China, Mongolia, Ecuador,
Argentina, Kenya, Guinea, Spain and Portugal during the past thirty
years. He established and managed several exploration companies with
projects worldwide and held academic positions at Trondheim Technical
University, Norway, Tromso University, Norway, and Manchester

JOANNE YAN is Vice President and Secretary and a co-Founder of APAC
Minerals Inc. since the company's inception in 1996, she has been
responsible for the financing and business development strategies of the
company ' in addition to corporate administration. Ms. Yan has been a
senior corporate executive with a number of other publicly traded
companies in Canada. She has also played a significant role in the
corporate financing and business development strategies between several
North American and Chinese companies. This, in addition to her fluency
in both English and Mandarin, has made her an invaluable asset to the
