TOBY JOSEPH, Chief Operating Officer for TQ3 EMEA-APAC, is responsible
for the day-to-day running of the innovative global corporate travel
firm TQ3 Travel Solutions across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia
Pacific (EMEA-APAC). He joined TQ3 prior to its launch from Carlson
Wagonlit Travel, where he was based in their Paris office as Vice
President Sales EMEA. Mr. Joseph spent a total of 14 years at Carlson
Wagonlit, originally joining the company as Business Development Manager
in London in 1987. Following promotion to Regional Sales Director, he
transferred to the Carlson headquarters in 1992 to establish and run the
Global Account Management team. As Director of Multinational Sales he
was responsible for the consolidation and implementation of many major
global accounts. Transferring back to London in 1995 as Vice President
of Sales for Northern Europe, under his management Carlson underwent
unprecedented growth with the UK company trebling in size during a
three-year period. Educated at King's School, Ely, Mr. Joseph then went
to Cambridge College of Arts and Technology. He is a member of numerous
trade bodies including having been a founder member of ACTE Europe
(Association of Corporate Travel Executives). Profile
TWST: Could you give us a brief overview of your company's business?Mr. Joseph: TQ3 Travel Solutions is a global T&E or travel expense
management company. We launched in February 2001
