Tim Hansen – Imaging Diagnostic Systems Inc (imds)

TIM HANSEN joined Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc., in July 2004 as CEO and Director. He has held executive positions in the medical imaging industry for over 20 years. Mr. Hansen served in sales, marketing, and business development roles, and was VP of several P&L divisions for leading companies in the imaging business, culminating in his appointment as President, Picker Medical System. Just prior to joining IDSI, Mr. Hansen was General Manager of the Radiation Management Services business of Cardinal Health, responsible for a leadership medical imaging quality assurance instrument and services division. Mr. Hansen also guided that business through previous acquisitions and divestitures by Syncor International and Inovision, respectively. During his 20-year tenure with Picker and prior to being appointed President of the $1.2 billion subsidiary of GEC/Marconi, Mr. Hansen served in executive roles of product development, marketing, business development/acquisitions and Operations. Picker International is a leader in diagnostic imaging systems including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and X-ray. Throughout his career Mr. Hansen developed and launched dozens of new products in CT, NM, X-Ray, MRI and PACS areas. He also managed 4,500 employees, maintained numerous global luminary relationships, and acquired nine businesses including ElScint's CT division. He began his medical imaging career in 1972 with GE Medical Systems in various roles including National Sales manager, Marketing Manager and Business Planner at a time when GE was entering the CT market and gaining leadership across many imaging modalities.
