THOMAS C. SULLIVAN is the Chairman and CEO of RPM, Inc. He was educated
at the Culver Military Academy, Culver, Indiana and received a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Business Administration from Miami University
(Ohio). From 1959 to 1961 he was a Communications Officer on the U.S.S.
Braine (DD630), operating throughout the Pacific. From 1961, Mr.
Sullivan has been with RPM, Inc., and its forerunner, Republic Powdered
Metals. He became Divisional Sales Manager in 1963, Vice President in
1969, Executive Vice President in 1970, President in 1971 and is
currently Chairman of the Board and CEO. He is a Board Member of RPM,
Inc., Pioneer-Standard Electronics, Inc., National City Bank, Huffy
Corporation and Kaydon Corporation. Mr. Sullivan's civic and business
affiliations include: Vice Chairman of the Board and Treasurer of the
National Paint & Coatings Association., Washington, DC; Member of the
Board of Trustees of Cleveland Tomorrow, Cleveland, Ohio; Trustee
Emeritus of the Culver Educational Foundation, Culver, Indiana; co-
