THOMAS W. OLOFSON is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer of EPIQ Systems, Inc. He led a private investor group that
acquired the company in July 1988, and has served as CEO and Chairman of
the Board since that time. During his business career, Mr. Olofson has
held various management positions with Xerox Corporation and was a
Senior Vice President and member of the Office of the President of
Marion laboratories, Inc. Mr. Olofson is a Director of Saztec
International, Inc., a provider of information management services, and
also serves as a Director of various private companies in which he is an
investor. He earned a BBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1963, and
is currently a member of the Board of Visitors of the Katz Graduate
School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Profile

Mr. Olofson: The predecessor company, Electronic Processing, Inc., was
actually founded in the 1960s
