THOMAS J. BARRACK JR. is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief
Executive Officer of Colony Capital, LLC, and Colony Advisors,
LLC. As such, he provides overall strategic and investment
direction and leadership to the firm. Prior to the formation of
Colony, Mr. Barrack was a principal with the Robert M. Bass Group
(RMBG), the principal investment vehicle of the Fort Worth,
Texas, investor Robert M. Bass. Prior to joining RMBG, Mr.
Barrack served as President of Oxford Development Ventures, Inc.,
a $3 billion Canadian-based development company. Prior to his
tenure at Oxford, Mr. Barrack also served in the Reagan
Administration as Deputy Under Secretary of the Department of the
Interior. In 1976, Mr. Barrack began his real estate development
career as President of Dunn International Corporation, and also
was Senior Vice President for EF Hutton and Co. in New York. He
practiced law until 1976. Mr. Barrack holds a BA degree and a JD
degree and serves on the Board of Directors of publicly-traded
companies such as Accor Casinos SAS, Continental Airlines, Inc.,
First Republic Bank, Korea First Bank, Megaworld Properties &
