Terry E. Dennis – Planet City Corporation (pinc)

TERRY E. DENNIS is CEO of Planet City Corp., and has over 24 years of professional software development experience, which includes management positions at three successful software companies. He has been involved in all phases of proprietary software development, from initial concept stage through design, coding, implementation, maintenance and enhancement. Several award winning software products were developed under his guidance. His primary focus has been on large IBM mainframes, with special emphasis on Year 2000 remediation. He retired in November of 1996 after serving 10 years at Viasoft, Inc. as a Director of Software Development and as a Director of Professional Services. At Computer Associates, Mr. Dennis was Assistant Vice President of Research & Development, where he was responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of several operations support products that were acquired with the CAPEX merger. At CAPEX Corporation, he was a Development Product Line Manager, and managed the development, maintenance and support of several main-frame operations support products, including tape management, DASD management, performance measurement, and operations scheduling tools. He was also the primary technical resource on those projects. Mr. Dennis attended the Arizona State University prior to enlisting in the United States Navy in 1968 where he served on the USS Tripoli (LPH-10) and the USS Midway (CVA-41) as an Interior Communications Electrician Petty Officer (E-5). He is a Vietnam Era Veteran. After his honorary discharge in 1972, he attended Coleman College in San Diego, CA, where he graduated at the top of his class. Mr. Dennis is married and has two sons.
