TED MEISEL, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined GoTo.com, Inc.
in December 1998 as Chief Operating Officer. He added the title of
President in May 1999 and was designated Chief Executive Officer in
January 2000. Before joining the company, he held a series of leadership
positions with Ticketmaster Online- CitySearch, where his
responsibilities included the areas of content, product management,
product design, professional services, business development, engineering
and general management of CitySearch New York. Prior to CitySearch, he
spent five years at McKinsey & Company serving media, telecommunications
and financial services companies, and three years with Strategic
Planning Associates (currently Mercer Management Consulting) in
Washington, DC, and Singapore. Mr. Meisel holds a BA from Dartmouth
