SYLVIE GREGOIRE joined GlycoFi in October 2004 as a Director and Chief
Executive Officer. Sylvie came to GlycoFi from Biogen, Inc. BIIB) where
she served most recently as Executive Vice President, Technical
Operations. Sylvie's proven track record of leadership within Biogen
also includes serving as Vice President, Manufacturing, Vice President,
Regulatory Affairs, Program Executive for Biogen's LT-Beta Receptor
program, and as Biogen's Director, European Regulatory Affairs. Prior to
Biogen, Sylvie was at Merck and Co. in various positions in the US and
Europe. Sylvie received her doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the State
University of New York in Buffalo and her B.S. in Pharmacy from the
