STEVEN PLOCHOCKI serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of
InSight Health Services Corp., a leading provider of diagnostic imaging
services throughout 30 states. Mr. Plochocki has over 25 years of
diversified healthcare experience ranging from sales and marketing
expertise to operational acumen and acquisition integration. Before
joining InSight, he was CEO at Centratex Support Services, Inc. from
January 1998 ' November 1999. Prior to Centratex, from 1995-1997, Mr.
Plochocki was President and Chief Operating Officer at Apria Healthcare
Group Inc., a billion-dollar home healthcare provider created by the
1995 merger of Abbey Healthcare Group Inc. and Homedco Group, Inc. The
merger created the largest home medical equipment company in the
country. Mr. Plochocki's extensive healthcare career includes the
several positions he held with Olsten Healthcare from 1988 to 1992. He
was instrumental in creating the largest homecare health agency business
in the country with the merger of Upjohn Healthcare Services with
Olsten. He was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Director
of Operations but also held several other sales and marketing positions
during his four years with Olsten/Upjohn. He spent his early career in
the Midwest. Mr. Plochocki holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism
and Public Relations from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan
and a Master's degree in Business Management from Central Michigan
University, in Troy, Michigan. His professional affiliations include
those with the American College of Health Care Marketing Institute, the
Academy for Health Service Marketing, the American Marketing Association
and the Adaptive Business Leaders ' Orange County Chapter. Profile
