Steven Pierson – Putnam Lovell Nbf Securities Inc

STEVE PIERSON is a Managing Director in the investment banking practice of Putnam Lovell NBF Securities Inc. which provides M&A advisory and public and private equity financing services. He joined Putnam Lovell NBF in 1995 and has worked on transactions such as: - Vector Partners sale to Banc of America Securities; Lockwood Financial's sale to the Bank of New York Co.; The private placement of EnvestnetPMC's $23.85 million Series B financing; Hull Group Inc.'s sale to Goldman Sachs; AMVESCAP Plc's acquisition of LGT Asset Management; Miller Anderson & Sherrerd's sale to Morgan Stanley Group, Inc. Prior to joining Putnam Lovell NBF, Mr. Pierson was with Signet Bank N.A. (now Wachovia), Washington, DC, where he spent three years in the real estate line of business concentrating on real estate workouts. During this time he also served as the bank's liaison to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. While in business school, Mr. Pierson was a Summer Associate in the Financial Institutions Group at Smith Barney where he participated in transactions such as PNC's acquisition of BlackRock and Chase Mortgage's acquisition of American Residential Mortgage. Mr. Pierson received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
