Steven Halverson – The Haskell Company

STEVEN T. HALVERSON is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Haskell Company, an integrated design-build organization with operations throughout the United States and Latin America and headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Halverson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John's University and a Juris Doctorate from American University. He is co-author of two books, Federal Grant Law and Construction Law Update ' 1997, as well as numerous articles in professional publications. He has spoken internationally on construction, development and environmental issues. Mr. Halverson is active in civic and professional organizations. He is a Trustee or Director of the Lowell Whiteman School (Chairman), the Jacksonville Symphony (Chair-elect), the United Way of Northeast Florida and the Council for Education Change. He is past Chairman of the Design Build Institute of America. He is a member of the Construction Industry Roundtable and was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to the Florida Council of 100 and the University of North Florida Board of Trustees, where he serves as Vice Chairman.
