Stephen Wall – Choice Homes

STEPHEN T. WALL has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Choice Homes since 1999. His history with Choice spans over a decade. Mr. Wall's forward-thinking leadership has fostered dynamic growth and solidified Choice's status within the home- building industry. Mr. Wall has helped lead Choice to its number one position throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, while supporting expansions to include offices in Austin, Houston, Amarillo, Tyler and San Antonio in Texas, and in suburban Atlanta, Georgia. Under Mr. Wall's leadership, the company's revenues have grown by approximately 34% and profits have grown by approximately 196% (year 2001 as compared to 1999). Mr. Wall began his Choice career in sales, before working his way up through Community Management and administration. By 1995, he had risen to the position of Vice President with responsibilities for the Dallas-area region. Those responsibilities soon expanded to serving as Chief Operating Officer of the company. With such a progressive Choice Homes history, Mr. Wall knows his business from the bottom up. After completing his education and gaining invaluable experience through intensive apprenticeships with some of the most outstanding builders in the Midwest and Southwest, Mr. Wall returned to his native Arlington, Texas, to try his sales skills for the newly expanding Choice Homes. Within three years, he was given the task of growing Choice's market area to include Dallas and surrounding counties. Recently featured on the cover of Big Builder magazine, Mr. Wall appeared, along with a three page profile noting Choice's success, on the cover of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Arlington Real Estate business section for first quarter 2002. A committed supporter of civic communities throughout the Choice Homes areas, Mr. Wall serves on the Board of Directors of both the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association. He is a frequent speaker to trade and homebuilders groups and leads the efforts for maintaining affordable homes for young families and first- time homebuyers throughout the industry. Mr. Wall completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in November 2001. Profile
