THOMAS WAECHTER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Spectrian Corporation. He joined the company in April 2000. Since he has been with the company, he has installed a new management team that has finalized the outsourcing model, expanded the product line and customer base, and improved time to market for new products. Prior to joining Spectrian, Mr. Waechter spent 14 years at Schlumberger Ltd., a global technology services company. During his tenure there, he had various roles in management positions at the Vice President and General Manager level. He was involved in semiconductor equipment, smart cards, test equipment for communications industry, telephone systems and traffic management systems for municipalities. Most recently, he was Vice President of Global Operations at Schlumberger Test & Transactions. Mr. Waechter received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 1975 from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Profile
