Sean O’connor – International Assets Holding Corporation

SEAN M. O'CONNOR was appointed to the Board of International Assets Holding Corporation and became Chief Executive Officer in December 2002. International Assets Holdings is listed on NASDAQ and specializes in the international securities markets. Mr. O'Connor is also the President of INTL Trading, the broker dealer subsidiary. From 1989 to 2002 Mr. O'Connor was employed by the Standard Bank Group, an international bank. From 1994 until 2002, Mr. O'Connor was Chief Executive'Americas, CEO and Director of Standard New York Securities and from 1999 served on the Board of Standard Bank London Limited (a UK registered bank), the holding company for all of Standard Bank's international operations. Mr. O'Connor relocated to London in 1991 to assist the Chief Executive to establish a niche investment bank and was one of the original four members of Standard Bank London ' now employing over 1,200 people globally. Mr. O'Connor was the Founder of the Americas business for Standard Bank after relocating to New York in 1994 and tasked with the responsibility of establishing a business from startup in a region where Standard had no prior activities.
