RUDOLF P. GUENZEL has been Director of BancFlorida, FSB since 1995;
President and Chief Executive Officer of PBOC Holdings, Inc. since 1998
and President and Chief Executive Officer of BancFlorida since March
1995. In 1991, Mr. Guenzel was hired as President and Chief Executive
Officer of BancFlorida and its wholly owned subsidiary, BancFlorida,
FSB. He served in this capacity until it was acquired by First Union
Corporation in August 1994. Following the acquisition, Mr. Guenzel
worked as a consultant in the area of bank profitability analysis until
being hired by PBOC Holdings, Inc. Between 1974 and 1989 he was
associated with European American Bancorp, where he held several
positions including being a member of the Executive Management Team and
Executive Vice President in charge of the Credit Division. He was also
affiliated with Chemical Bank, where he served as Assistant Vice
President and Deputy Head of the Commercial Credit Department. Mr.
Guenzel received his BS in Economics and a Master's degree in Accounting
and Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Profile
