ROSS W. MANIRE, is the President and CEO of Chatham Technologies, Inc.
He joined the company in April 1999. Prior to joining Chatham he was
Senior Vice President, Carrier Systems Business Unit, 3Com Corporation.
He is the former Senior Vice President of the Network Systems Division
of U.S. Robotics, which merged with 3Com in June 1997. Mr. Manire joined
U.S. Robotics in 1991 as Vice President, Finance. He became Vice
President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer in March 1992. Mr. Manire
was promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations/C.F.O. in August 1992,
and General Manager, Network Systems Division in April 1995. He joined
U.S. Robotics from Ridge Capital Corp., where he coordinated the
restructuring of acquired companies in addition to managing bank
relations and treasury functions. Prior to that, Mr. Manire served as
partner in the Entrepreneurial Services Group for Ernst & Young in
Chicago, where he managed the west suburban practice office. He has also
worked for the Amoco Corporation. Mr. Manire holds a M.B.A. in business
from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in economics from Davidson
