TIMOTHY MAYLEBEN is Vice President, Finance and Administration and CFO
of Esperion Therapeutics. He began work in 1987 with high-growth
technology companies. Most recently, Mr. Mayleben held senior management
positions with two successful software development companies. Prior to
that, he was a Manager with the Enterprise Group of Arthur Anderson &
Co. Mr. Mayleben received a BBA from the University of Michigan and an
MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of

ROGER NEWTON, PhD, is the co-Founder, President and CEO of Esperion
Therapeutics. He was previously a Distinguished Research Fellow in
Vascular and Cardiac Diseases at Parke-Davis. His career in the
pharmaceutical industry began in 1981, which includes 12 years as
Chairman of the Atheroslerosis Drug Discovery Team at Parke-Davis
Pharmaceutical Research, Warner Lambert Company. Dr. Newton received a
BA in Biology from Lafayette College, an MS in Nutritional Biochemistry
from the University of Connecticut and a PhD in Nutrition from the
University of California, Davis. He also specialized in atherosclerosis
research during a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of
