ROBERT W. 'BOB' LINDAL is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lindal
Cedar Homes, the world's largest manufacturer of custom cedar homes
headquartered in Seattle, Washington with major markets throughout the
entire U.S., Canada and Japan. Born September 12, 1947, he attended
schools in both the U.S. and Canada and received a Bachelor of Applied
Science in Civil Engineering, with honors, from the University of
British Columbia, Canada. Prior to assuming the office of Chairman in
1995, Mr. Lindal was an independent distributor of the company's
products in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was the top distributor in the
country in 1980. During most of the 1970's, Mr. Lindal ran the
engineering and design functions of the company and supervised the
start-up and operation of the company's cedar sawmill and manufacturing
operations in British Columbia, Canada. Since becoming president, Mr.
Lindal has guided the company from $6 million in sales in 1982 to over
$50 million in 1989. He was appointed as Chairman in 1995 when his
brother, Douglas Lindal, became the president of the company. Profile
