ROBERT S. TAUBMAN is President and Chief Executive Officer of Taubman
Centers, Inc. Taubman Centers, a real estate investment trust, owns,
develops and operates regional shipping centers nationally. Mr. Taubman
joined the Taubman organization in 1976, was elected Executive Vice
President in 1984, Chief Operating Officer in 1988, and President and
Chief Executive Officer in 1990. He has headed Taubman Centers and
served on its Board of Directors since the company's initial public
offering in 1992. Mr. Taubman is a member of the Board of Directors of
Comerica Bank, fashionmall.com, and Beaumont Hospital. He serves as a
member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real
Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), and a Trustee of the International
Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a Trustee of the Urban
Land Institute (ULI), serving as Chairman of its Detroit Regional
District Council, and is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable in
Washington, DC. Among his civic and charitable commitments, he currently
serves as Chairman of the Michigan campaign drive for the United Negro
College Fund, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cranbrook
Educational Community, where he serves as Chairman of the Finance
Committee. Mr. Taubman holds a BS degree in Economics and Finance from
