Robert Robb – Quorex Pharmaceuticals Inc

ROBERT ROBB is President, Chief Executive Officer and co-Founder of Quorex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Robb has a diverse background as business developer, executive manager, and seed venture capitalist. Mr. Robb has served as President and Director of several biotechnology startups. He is serving on the Boards of Directors of two early-stage companies, Epeius Biotechnology, Inc., and Mpex Bioscience, Inc. During the past 18 years he has been involved in launching, funding and/or managing over 20 early stage, bioscience/healthcare enterprises, including Zonagen, Gene Medicine, Cardiogene, Hepatix (Vitagen), Matrigen, and Genosys. Immediately prior to joining Quorex in 1999, Mr. Robb was President and co-Founder of BioVentures West, a San Diego venture capital company, which he managed for two years in partnership with Research Corporation Technologies, Inc. Prior to BioVentures West, he managed spinoff activities for the University of Michigan as Director of the Technology Management Office and served as Director of Business Development at BCM Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Baylor College of Medicine. Mr. Robb also founded InMedica Development Corporation, a public venture capital company that funded and assisted emerging companies, and for four years directed the investment of its capital into life science enterprises.
