ROBERT PEMBERTON is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Infinium
Software, Inc. He founded Infinium in 1981 on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Infinium is now a $93 million company serving more than 2,000 customers
worldwide. Mr. Pemberton is widely recognized for his visionary approach
in developing business applications that meet the changing needs of
dynamic organizations. Before starting Infinium, Mr. Pemberton held
senior management positions at State Street Bank and Trust Company in
Boston, and was vice president at Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company.
He is frequently called upon to speak on the role of the Internet and
other emerging technologies in business, and to share his philosophy
