ROBERT HUANG has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of
SYNNEX Information Technologies since he founded the company in 1980.
Prior to SYNNEX, Mr. Huang served as International Sales Manager for
Advanced Micro Devices. From 1975 to 1978, Mr. Huang was Manager, Far
East Sales for MACRODATA Corporation, a company that manufactured and
serviced semiconductor test equipment. Mr. Huang is Chairman of the
Board for n-STREAMS Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of video-on-
demand products, as well as eManage.com, a company that provides hosting
and managed services. He is also a Board member of Tyan Computer
Corporation, a manufacturer of high-end system boards and add-in cards.
Mr. Huang's educational background includes a BS in Electrical
Engineering from Kyushu University in Kyushu, Japan, an MS in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Rochester and an MS in Management
Science from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Profile
Mr. Huang: I started the company in 1980 as an electronics distributor
covering the US and Pacific Basin, with offices in
